Lalia Mae Lewis, 98, former physical education faculty member, died Dec. 17. After World War II, she taught refugee children in New York City before joining UNT.

Jordan Baker, a senior from Sachse, died Jan. 20 of injuries sustained in an auto crash. Baker was enrolled in the College of Business and was a member of the in-line hockey club.
