North Texas Cross Country 5k (Community Race)  Information
Community 5k Sponsorship opportunities available contact Stefanie Slekis to partner with the third year of our community 5k race.  

Register by August 31st to guarantee receiving your North Texas Cross Country shirt (see the image above) with your registration fee. Online Registration ends Thursday, Sept. 10th at midnight. Race-day registration will be available, but official timing and shirts will not be guaranteed.

Parking will be available at Apogee Stadium off of South Bonnie Brae Street. Signage will direct particpants where to park and packet pick-up will be on the Eagle Point Cross Country Course behind Apogee Stadium and near the Waranch Tennis Complex on Walt Parker Drive at the D & D Sports Med Tent.

Awards
Top three male and female finishers will receive prize packages with values of $75, $50, and $25.

The Top Male & Female Master’s Finishers (40+) will each receive a prize package valued at $50.

Two random finishers will be selected to receive prize packages valued at $25.

Prize Packages will include gift cards and gift vouchers from the following North Texas restaurant partners: On The Border, Chicken Express, McAlister’s (Denton Location), Cowboy Chicken, and Whataburger.

7:30 a.m.	1. Middle School Girls (3200m)	Unlimited runners
7:50 a.m.	2. Middle School Boys (3200m)	Unlimited runners
8:10 a.m.	3. University/ College Women (5k)
8:40 a.m.	4. University/ College Men (4 Mile)
9:10 a.m.	5. Elite Varsity Elite Girls (5k)	10 runners per school
9:40 a.m.	6. Elite Varsity Boys (5k)	10 runners per school
10:10 a.m.	7. Varsity Girls (3200m)	10 runners per school
10:30 a.m.	8. Varsity Boys (5k)	10 runners per school
11:00 a.m.	9. Junior Varsity Girls (3200m)	Unlimited runners
11:20 a.m.	10. Junior Varsity Boys (5k)	Unlimited runners
12:00 p.m.	11. Little Texan Mile & North Texas Community 5K

 The Varsity High school, College, and Community 5k Races will be chip timed by Adkins Track Timing.
