For the third consecutive year, Schneider Electric is supporting our UNT State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) Golf Tournament by becoming the title sponsor.
You’ve seen them across campus helping to better our environment and improve our energy efficiency as an integral part of the UNT SMART project, a 30-month, campus-wide energy saving initiative projected to save the university more than $60 million over the next 20 years.
Schneider Electric was also a significant contributor to the new Zero Energy Research Lab, giving UNT students real-world training opportunities for the growing sustainable and renewable energy industry.
Through their latest contribution as the title sponsor of the golf tournament, they are broadening the reach of their charitable efforts to benefit the surrounding community.
The tournament benefits the United Way of Denton County as well as other partner agencies including Ann’s Haven VNA, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Denton County Friends of the Family.
This year’s tournament will be Oct. 15 at the Oakmont Country Club, so save the date and join the fun.
