A big thank you to all the alumni that came out on Saturday night for the annual Mean Green soccer alumni game. It was great seeing so many familiar faces!
The defense pitched a shutout and Rachel Holden scored three goals to lead Mean Green soccer to a 5-0 win against TWU last night.
Mean Green soccer is back in action tonight against TWU at 7 p.m.
Mean Green soccer caps its spring season with the most important game of the year; the alumni game! Who's coming back?
Mean Green soccer had a successful weekend, going 2-0 with wins against Midwestern State and Baylor. Goals by Rachel Holden, Karla Pineda and Lindsey Hulstein steered North Texas to a 3-1 win against Baylor on Sunday afternoon.
If the rain stays away, Mean Green soccer has two more spring games this weekend at home. North Texas plays Midwestern State on Saturday and Baylor on Sunday.
The Mean Green soccer team works hard on the field and in the classroom. Fourteen members of the team were named to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll. Kelci Slaughter and Hailey Hadden also received academic medals.
No rest for the weary. After two games on Saturday, Mean Green soccer is back at work early on Monday morning with a strength and conditioning workout.
North Texas soccer has two games this weekend at home. The Mean Green plays Arkansas at 11:30 a.m. and Tyler Junior College at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Mean Green soccer needs to find room in the trophy case for one more! Athletic Director Rick Villarreal surprised the team at practice today by presenting them with the plaque for being the nation's leader in save percentage. #GMG
Following a record-breaking season and a conference championship, the North Texas soccer program and head coach John Hedlund have signed five players to National Letters of Intent.

We received a nice e-mail from the NCAA today, congratulating the North Texas team on being the statistical champion in save percentage. Go Mean Green!
We've been hopeful for awhile, but it's now official! Jackie Kerestine has been granted another year of eligibility from Conference USA. Mean Green fans will see Jackie back in goal in the fall of 2015!
