Early biplanes, historically important military and general aviation aircraft, the World War II Gallery, the unique history of Southwest Airlines, numerous commercial airline artifacts, the one-of-a-kind Vought V-173 “Flying Pancake,” and the Apollo 7 command module can all be seen as you tour through the Museum. THE LIVING HISTORY PROGRAM Meet and hear the fascinating aviation stories of “Jimmy Doolittle,“ “Orville Wright,“ “Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin“ “Amelia Earhart“ “Admiral Charles Rosendahl“, a World War II fighter pilot, a Marine Corps pilot, a commercial aviation pilot, a member of the famed Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), and a space engineer. I actually don't want to write a review - I wanted to send Northpark feedback, but they go out of their way to make sure you cannot leave comments or email them, hence the 4 stars. This feedback is mom-focused. I really like Northpark Center, it's the most mom-friendly mall in the area. I love that you provide family restrooms, they're a big hit, I usually have to wait in line. The fact that the mall (and Nordstroms) offers nursing rooms is really impressive, but you need to replace the chairs, just a regular chair with arms will do. Willowbend doesn't offer that privacy. The fact that you let Bookmarks host a reading under the food court is great business sense, as is letting Fit4Mom use your mall for workouts before the stores open. I know that Fit4Mom does play dates after class with the local stores; it encourages more moms to join and therefore more business. A few suggestions on how to grow and be even more kid-friendly: at least one section of the mall where you have automated doors. It's very hard to get into your double doors with a single stroller. A friend of mine with twins and a double stroller, can't get in the doors by herself. Sadly, you be surprised how many people don't stop and help, so she does a lot of shopping online. Second, ask your housekeeping crew when near the doors to open them for moms. Third, consider making those two rows near the food court and loading docks, mom-only parking. It might cut down on people driving the wrong way trying to snatch that open spot. And lastly, this is important, right where those two rows of parking are, you have a sidewalk cutting it down the middle, leading to the rest of the parking lot, but in the last row, you don't allow for extra space inbetween cars, which hinders wheelchairs and strollers from getting through if the cars are parked closely together. So moms with their babies (and possibly wheelchairs) have to walk in the road around these two rows of parking to get inside.
