Faculty and staff are encouraged to remind students to attend meetings related to the development of the University Union. Faculty and staff also may attend.
Consultants for the Union Master Plan renovation/expansion project will meet with students and other constituents to gather feedback about our university union, says Stefanie Ritz, assistant director of marketing and planning.
Student forum meetings are scheduled in the University Union, Room 418:
Free pizza and refreshments will be available.
The master plan calls for the union to be renovated and expanded. The union was originally built to serve 15,000 students; UNT's current enrollment is more than 35,000.
It is very critical that we have a strong student presence at these meetings in order to best represent what our students’ needs and wants are for a potential new union at UNT, says Ritz. "Please encourage your student employees and other students that you work with to participate in one of these student forums. Your support for the master plan is very much appreciated."
