Ishmael Bustinza, 77, retired assistant professor of foreign languages and literatures, died June 15. He served on committees with the Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships and on the Faculty Senate.

D. Barry Lumsden, 72, died June 15. He was director of the Center for Higher Education, founding editor of three scholarly journals and had received teaching awards.
