UNT is celebrating our 125th anniversary. What started with 70 students and a bold vision to be a leader is now a reality. In 125 years, UNT has risen to the top tier of research universities and helped hundreds of thousands of Eagles spread their wings and soar. The university celebrated 125 years of excellence at the inaugural Wingspan Gala.            

UNT Highlights

Opened in January 2016, UNT's New College at Frisco offers programs and classes that give students and working professionals the edge they need for success. UNT's New College at Frisco represents a new way of thinking, a new way of doing business and a new kind of education.    

 

UNT's Institutes of Research Excellence offer solutions-based research, collaboration and outcomes. Capitalizing on UNT's existing research strengths in plant science, materials science, environmental science and logistics, the institutes are a pipeline to bring UNT's know-how to industry.
