Student Insurance
Students participating in UNT faculty-led programs and exchange programs are automatically registered for ACE American Insurance Company health and evacuation insurance. However, please note that the coverage for students on UNT exchanges is not active until the insurance fees have been paid. Your card can be downloaded through your application within your study abroad application once you’ve been accepted to your program.
Students participating in all other programs are strongly encouraged to speak with a Study Abroad Advisor about registering for insurance, or to examine if their affiliate provider already offers insurance.
Insurance Rates as of September 1, 2015 are:
- One Week (1-7 days): $23.58
- Two Weeks (8-14 days): $47.16
- Three Weeks (15-21 days): $70.74
- Four Weeks (22-28 days): $94.32
