Biography
Dr. Jesse Robertson, Associate Professor of Accounting, joined the UNT faculty in 2008 following the completion of his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama. Dr. Robertson also holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Morehead State University. He is a member of the American Accounting Association and is certified as a CPA.
Dr. Robertson currently teaches auditing at both the M.S. and undergraduate levels. Dr. Robertson has served on several doctoral dissertation committees, including two as co-chair.
Dr. Robertson's research interests include interactions between auditors and their clients, PCAOB inspections of accounting firms, and ethical issues. Dr. Robertson has published in journals such as Behavioral Research in Accounting, the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Accounting Literature, Current Issues in Auditing, and The CPA Journal.
Dr. Robertson is married to Kelli, a speech pathologist. They have a young daughter.
