The UNT Foundation works cooperatively with many individuals on and off campus. The information provided below helps facilitate those relationships. Deans and department chairs, development officers and planned giving specialists, individual donors and charitable foundations will find in this section much of the material they may need to process gift transactions. Foundation Structure

The UNT Foundation is committed to complete transparency and accountability through its committees of Audit, Budget, Development Governance, Investment and Trust Management & Real Estate. These committees were developed to assist the Directors in fulfilling their responsibilities of the Board. Likewise, the Foundation Executive staff, as well as the Board of Directors, stay current on a wide array of issues that impact higher educational institutions by maintaining affiliations with the leading associations and professional education groups throughout the country..

Foundation Policies & Procedures

Operating policies and procedures are developed by UNT Foundation staff and approved by the UNT Foundation Board of Directors. The policies and procedures are regularly reviewed in coordination with University Division of Advancement staff to ensure their adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Foundation Endowments

Managing endowed funds is our core business at the UNT Foundation, so we take special care working with generous alumni and friends and with University development officers and staff to get it right. Whether supporting worthy students through a scholarship fund, or providing much-needed funding for faculty teaching and research, or meeting the financial needs of a critical University program, it can be accomplished through a permanent endowment in the UNT Foundation.
