Friday, February 19th

9th Annual Thin Line Film Festival @ The Campus Theatre

(All Day)

  • Thin Line is a film, music, and photo festival held over 5 days in Denton. The 9th annual festival is February 17-21, 2016. For five days, Thin Line will deliver an engaging program of high quality documentary films, world-class music, and a diverse selection of photography.

  • National Contemporary Craft Competition and Exhibition. This free exhibition will be on display from Feb. 6th to April 1.

UNT Student and Guest Artist Recital: Baumer String Quartet @ Voertman Hall

(5:00 p.m.)

  • Enjoy a performance by the world-renowned UNT College of Music's own Baumer String Quartet. Free admission.

Live Music @ LSA Hamburger

(7:00-10:00 p.m.)

  • Enjoy the music of local Denton musicians over a delicious meal on the rooftop patio of LSA Hamburger and you'll have the best view in town.

Ghosts of Denton: Haunted History Tour @ Jupiter House

(8:00 p.m.)

  • Award-winning professional story-teller Shelley Tucker takes you on a history tour unlike any other as you learn little-known stories about Denton's historic downtown. Tours begin at Jupiter House Coffee (106 N. Locust). Adult tickets for $15, children 6-11 for $6.
