About Discovery Park
Ultramodern Facilities and Leading-Edge Equipment
The College of Engineering is located at Discovery Park, which is a nearly 290-acre research park in north Denton. The facility is equipped with wireless internet so you can connect with your laptop or Smartphone.
The facility opened to students in January 2004. It used to be occupied by Texas Instruments. Discovery Park houses offices and labs for the College of Engineering and the College of Information.
Also located at Discovery Park is the Discovery Park Library, which provides the Colleges of Information and Engineering with high quality services and resources, including physical and virtual reference, laptop checkout, public computers, and student study areas. All services and resources are located in B112 near the coffee shop.
Discovery Park is near Interstate 35 and is surrounded by a large parking area. It is also accessible by the campus shuttle bus.
