The University of North Texas permits the use of instructional materials including classroom texts and supplemental texts authored by faculty or staff members, whenever such texts enhance the educational experience of students. The following policy is intended to safeguard the interests of students as well as faculty or staff in the use of such materials, and to insure uniformity of practice across the university.
