Degree Audit

What is a degree audit?

It is an official degree plan from the university. It is the tool which helps you progress toward graduation and is the proof of degree completion in order for you to graduate. The degree audit includes:

  • All the courses and requirements you need to complete.
  • All the courses and requirements you have already completed.
  • Everything you have done that is being applied to your degree.

Your degree audit must be created and finalized prior to your graduating semester.

When should I get a degree audit?

Once you have met the College of Engineering Admissions criteria, chosen your engineering major, and have enrolled in or completed MATH 1710.

How do I get a degree audit?

Step 1: Contact the College of Engineering Advising Office to make an appointment with an advisor.

Step 2: The advisor will create your degree audit after your appointment. You may need to provide catalog descriptions of transfer courses or be asked to contact departments to seek evaluations for transfer courses after your appointment in order for your advisor to create your degree audit. Your advisor will explain during your appointment if this is necessary.

Step 3: Your degree audit will be emailed to you at your EagleConnect address after your advisor creates it. You can also view it via MyUNT.

Please note, it normally takes 4-6 weeks to receive your degree audit and you can't graduate unless an advisor has created your degree audit.
