DENTON, Texas (10/22/08) Come out to the Mean Green Volleyball Center and support a great cause on Sunday as North Texas and Troy team up for Dig for the Cure 2008.
The North Texas and Troy volleyball match begins at 1 p.m., and all fans are encouraged to make a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for each dig in the match. Pledge sheets will be available at the promotions table to the right of the main gym entrance.
At the end of the match, the finally tally will be announced and fans are asked to fill the rest of their pledge sheet out accordingly and turn in a check for their total pledge amount. Fans can also make a flat donation as well. Unfortunately, cash donations cannot be accepted.
For out of town fans that wish to participate, please contact Sara Shuler by email. Send her your name, email and indicate whether or not you are donating a lump sum or pledge per dig. After Sunday’s match, Sara will email you the finally tally and information on where to send your pledges. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to let her know.
We will also be raffling two Dig for the Cure pink volleyballs signed by the North Texas Volleyball team. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 or 10 tickets for $5. The winner will be announced during the intermission following the second set.
