MONROE, La. (10/02/09) - The Mean Green volleyball team picked up its first Sun Belt Conference win of the season with a 3-0 victory at ULM on Friday night (25-19, 25-12, 25-18).
In it's first of three road matches this weekend North Texas (5-11, 1-1 Sun Belt) blasted the Warhawks (2-16, 0-4 Sun Belt) with .296 hitting, the squad's highest mark of the season.
Once again, Amy Huddleston paved the way with 10 kills and 12 digs, both match highs. The outing is her fifth double-double of the season.
The Brittany Brown and Brittani Youman tallied nine kills each, and Kati Dillard notched seven. The Mean Green has now won five of its last eight matches heading into the rest of this weekend's matches.
North Texas returns to action tomorrow at Louisiana-Lafayette at 5 p.m., and at New Orleans on Sunday at noon.
