DENTON, Texas - Amy Huddleston and Sarah Willey have spent the last few years inching up the Mean Green volleyball record books, but the duo has had to wait until this year to see the fruits of their labor.
Not only did the Mean Green volleyball team post its best non-conference record since 2006, but Huddleston and Willey are working their way up the career charts with every outing.
Huddleston, the senior, became just the fifth player in school history to post 1,000 career kills, while Willey, a junior, is about to become the fourth NT player with 1,000 career digs.
The talented duo will be the first set of teammates in school history to accomplish the feat, but both would trade every individual accomplishment for the 2010 Sun Belt West Division title.
