Volleyball Rolls Past Prairie View A&M

ARLINGTON, Texas - The North Texas volleyball team used a powerful offensive showing to roll past Prairie View A&M on Friday afternoon, 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-18).

Rachelle Wilson and Amy Huddleston slammed home 14 and 10 kills apiece as North Texas (7-6) racked up a 50-21 edge in team kills and a season-high .333-.032 attack percentage.

The Mean Green rolled in the first two sets, which didn't feature a single lead change. Prairie View contested the third set early, but overcome its eight attack errors in the set.

Sarah Willey provided the NT defense with 17 digs, snapping her streak of two straight matches with at least 25 digs.

North Texas takes on UTEP at 11 a.m. and host UT Arlington at 7:30 p.m. in the UTA Hilton Invitational tomorrow.
