The Mean Green was led offensively by sophomore Taylor Lawrence, who collected double-figure kills in a match for the second time this season with a team-high 15. Sophomore Heidi Johnson split time with freshman Ashley Bass at the setter position, but still recorded her team-high fourth double-double with 18 assists and a match-high 14 digs. Bass dished out a season-high 18 assists as well.

Katy Prokof joined Lawrence as the only other North Texas player with double-digit kills, posting 10. The freshman outside hitter’s kill total marked the fourth straight match she has finished with double-figure kills.

North Texas now returns home to host Texas Southern at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in its first match at the Snake Pit this season.
