North Texas volleyball head coach Andrew Palileo announced the hiring of his second assistant coach, adding Susan Halverson to the Mean Green staff.
"I am really excited about Susan joining our program," Palileo said. "I have had the opportunity to work closely with her while also being able to observe her club coaching from a distance. She had a great playing career at Ohio State, and I know that she will bring that same passion and intensity into coaching our players."
Along with her extensive list of accolades as a club coach, Halverson just finished her first year as volunteer assistant coach for Ohio State following an impressive stint as a four-year letterwinner for the Buckeyes.
She played from 2007-10 for the Buckeyes and led them to the Sweet Sixteen during her senior campaign as a captain, and earned Big 10 Distinguished Scholar honors from 2008 to 2010.
