DENTON - The North Texas volleyball team will open its 2015 spring schedule this weekend when the Mean Green heads to Hawaii. The trip to the Aloha State will include three of six currently scheduled dates in the spring.

North Texas is set to take on Chaminade University and Hawaii Pacific University on Sunday, March 15. The team will follow those matches up with a meeting against the University of Hawaii on Tuesday, March 17.

The Mean Green's 13 returning letter winners will make the trip, including reigning Conference USA Player of the Year Carnae Dillard. This will be the team's first formal competition on the court since North Texas posted 22 wins last season.

Per NCAA guidelines, teams are allowed one trip abroad every four years.
