BOISE, Idaho - In its first five-set test of the young season, North Texas volleyball put on an excellent offensive display, but Idaho was able to pull it out, 16-14 in the final frame to conclude NT's time in the Gem state.

"The girls performed well, especially on offense," head coach Andrew Palileo said. "Unfortunately we were not able to pull out the win, but I saw a lot of good things going forward from my team."

With an attack percentage of .346, the Mean Green never stopped attacking.

Junior Hanna Forst (20) and senior Karissa Flack (15) each had career highs in kills.

Sophomore Carnae Dillard put up a season-high 28 kills, a total that is three short of her career high.She also had 12 digs, which marks her sixth double-double of the season.

Four girls had double-digit dig totals including freshman Amy Henard. Henard also tossed up 68 assists, a career high.

Redshirt sophomore Analisse Shannon had 16 digs, a career high for her, while senior Shelby Tamura posted the team-high 19 digs. Dillard and Tamura also had two service aces a piece.

NT volleyball gets a week off before the Houston Invitational Tournament begins on Sept. 20. with a match against LSU.
