NT's Rourke Breaks Third School Record of Season




Sophomore Gwen Rourke broke her third school record of the season when the North Texas women’s swimming and diving team faced off against TCU and Incarnate Word Wednesday evening at the TCU Recreation Center.

 

Rourke swam a time of 2:23.59 in the 200 breaststroke, breaking the school record she previously held with a time of 2:25.44. Rourke broke her first two school records last weekend in Little Rock, Ark., against Sun Belt Conference rival UALR.

 

The Mean Green competed fiercely with TCU, but fell short 80-57. The Mean Green defeated UIW overwhelmingly by a score of 126-55.

 

The Mean Green travel back to Little Rock, Ark. for its next meet December 3-4 at the Arkansas Invitational.
