DENTON, Texas - Mean Green diving's Catherine Johnson took the SBC Diver of the Week award after an excellent performance on the board against Rice.
Catherine Johnson, a junior from Swindon, England, won the one meter dive with a final tally of 265.20. The score also qualifies her for the NCAA Zones in Iowa City, Iowa.
She also finished second on the three meter dive with a Zone-qualifying score of 287.10.
She was the only diver in the meet to have two Zone-qualifying scores.
