Day Three Prelim Results Attached
ROCKWALL, Texas - North Texas swimming and diving had another strong preliminary round that saw 13 swimmers qualify for the championship heats Friday night.
Sophomore Mona Groteguth placed third in the 100 fly with a 55.31 time. Senior Bryn Lewis will join her in the championship heat as she came in fifth with a 55.68 mark.
Groteguth also nabbed a third-place finish in the 100 yard back and will be in the championship heat of that event later in the day.
Senior Catia Weickgenant continued her dominance from day two by posting a time of 1:49.43 in her first-place finish in the 200 yard free preliminary.
Sophomore Krista Rossum also saw success as she notched a NCAA 'B' cut time of 1:01.99 in her second-place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke.
Diving preliminaries begin at 1:30 p.m. while the championships will begin at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
