- UNT's College of Music, perhaps best known for offering the nation's first bachelor's degree in jazz studies, offers more than 50 ensembles and provides specialized studies in performance, composition, music education and music scholarship. Thanks in part to the college's collaborative approach to instruction and its commitment to excellence, UNT music alumni can be found around the globe, in top ensembles, opera companies, universities and schools.
