ISTANBUL (AP) Turkey’s state-run news agency said on Tuesday, May 10, a car bomb attack targeting a bus carrying police officers in the mainly Kurdish city of Diyarbakir killed at least three people.

Anadolu Agency said at least 22 other people were wounded in the attack in Diyarbakir’s Baglar neighborhood. The agency said the attack was carried out by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

Kurdish rebels have been targeting police and military targets since July, when a fragile peace process collapsed.
