• Earned Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Week with a game-changing 80-yard return of a blocked PAT for North Texas against UTSA
• His two-point conversion tied the game, instead of having his team go down by three points
• Played in and started 11 games at cornerback, making his first career start in the season opener against SMU
• Totaled 29 tackles, including 19 solo, to go along with 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack
• Was also one of three players with an interception, picking off a pass against Tennessee
