DENTON, Texas - It will be another milestone moment for Apogee Stadium as North Texas will host a Big 10 school for the first time in school history on Saturday night when they face off against the Indiana Hoosiers at 6 p.m..

The Mean Green is searching for their first win of the season and their first victory inside Apogee Stadium. Indiana picked up its first win of the season last week over South Carolina State after dropping its first two games to start the season.

North Texas is the only team in the nation that has played three undefeated opponents. The Mean Green has lost games to FIU (3-0), Houston (3-0) and Alabama (3-0) making its opponent cumulative record 9-0. Troy is the only other team in FBS that has faced exclusively undefeated teams, but the Trojans have played just two games and their opponents are a combined 6-0.

Indiana is just the third BCS school from an automatic qualifying conference to play in Denton since 2003. The last two were Kansas State in 2010 and Baylor in 2003.

North Texas is looking to avoid a 0-4 start to the season for the first time since 2008. For 11 straight years starting in 2000, through the first four games of the season North Texas has been either 0-4 or 1-3. The Mean Green's combined record after the first four games since 2000 excluding this season is 6-38.

Kyle White recovered two fumbles against Alabama. He is the first player since Craig Jones to recover two fumbles in the same game. Jones recovered two fumbles against Air Force on September 13, 2003.

Freshman Michael Stojkovic and sophomore Zachary Orr led North Texas in tackles with eight against Alabama. It is the first time since 2005 that a freshman and sophomore have led the Mean Green in tackles in a game.

Back on November 12, 2005 against Florida Atlantic freshman Steve Warren and sophomore Brandon Monroe led North Texas in tackles.

North Texas was shutout for only the third time in a game since the 2006 season. It is the first time that the Mean Green has been shutout in back-to-back seasons since 1999 and 2000.
