North Texas and the Denton County Transportation Authority have partnered to provide fans a free ride to Apogee Stadium for this Saturday's game against Ball State.
The "Get Your Green On" promotion allows fans wearing Mean Green apparel to ride free on DCTA's A-Train and bus services on Sept. 14. Take the A-Train to the Downtown Denton Transit Center a few blocks from the Denton Square, then catch a DCTA bus to the base of the pedestrian bridge in the Fouts Field parking lot. DCTA will also provide bus service after the game to return fans to Transit Center, again free for fans in Mean Green apparel.
Game-Day Shuttle Maps and Schedules 
Saturday's game kicks off at 3 p.m. at Apogee Stadium on the North Texas campus. The A-Train will operate between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m. Click here for the complete schedule.
DCTA bus service from the square to Apogee will run every 15 minutes from 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Connect Routes 7 and 8 also provide transportation to the stadium. Buses will also run between the square and the Transit Center until 10 p.m., and the last south-bound A-Train will leave the Transit Center at 11:15 p.m.
In addition to catching the Mean Green game, fans can also take in the annual Arts, Antiques and Autos event on the square beginning at 9 a.m.
"UNT and DCTA have always had a great partnership, and this game day shuttle is another example of that partnership," DCTA president Jim Cline said. "The transit connections to the stadium, accented by the activity and offerings in downtown Denton, are great reason for alumni and Mean Green fans throughout the area to take the A-train and enjoy the day in Denton."
