DENTON, Texas- North Texas women's basketball's Nov. 16 game against Oral Roberts is Denton ISD Elementary School Day, with students from across Denton ISD attending the game, which has a special 12:00 p.m. tip time.
Four schools from Denton ISD, Poloma Creek, Pecan Creek, Providence and Cross Oaks, have students coming to the game, with a total of close to 700 fifth and sixth grade students coming to the Super Pit to cheer on the Mean Green.
Students are going to be provided with North Texas backpacks as they leave the game, with women's basketball posters, schedule cards, ticket information and a voucher for future game tickets at a discounted rate included.
The Mean Green begin the season and the Karen Aston era on November 11 at UT Arlington, with tip at 7 p.m.
