Mean Green Storylines:

• Cougar Hunting
NT looks to turn around a disturbing trend of losing to the Cougars as it heads to Houston for the first time since 2009. The Mean Green has dropped four straight to the Cougars and hasn’t won since last century, a 71-65 win on Dec. 5, 1999.

• Marooned
North Texas faced a tough test when it welcomed 13th ranked Texas A&M to town on Nov. 11. It lost the game, but there were a few bright spots. Senior Desiree Nelson had nine points, three rebounds and a pair of steals. Briesha Wynn had her first double-digit scoring effort since transferring from TCU, scoring a team-high 13 points against the Ags. She added seven boards to that as well.

• Tac’ing On Some Points
Sophomore Acheil Tac, in her first career start, recorded a double-double, also her first. Her 13 points and 10 rebounds were also career-high marks. She continued her impressive season against the top-ranked Aggies, posting a solid eight points and seven rebounds in 27 minutes of action against a tall Texas A&M front court.
