DENTON -- The North Texas men's and women's basketball coaches show will make its 2016 debut Monday, Jan. 11 starting at noon hosted at Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q.
Hosted by Steven Bartolotta, Dave Barnett and Hank Dickenson, the hour-long show features women's coach Jalie Mitchell from noon to 12:30 and men's coach Tony Benford from 12:30 to 1. The show is broadcast on KNTU 88.1 FM and KHYI 95.3 FM, and each edition is posted on KNTU's website at KNTU.com.
The men's team holds a four-game home winning streak and is 7-9, 2-1 in conference play. The Mean Green will host Marshall (Jan. 14) and Western Kentucky (Jan. 16) inside the Super Pit this week. The women's team is coming off a exciting triple overtime thriller in a road loss at Rice, 100-97. The women's team is 6-7, 1-2 in conference play and will head out on the road at Marshall (Jan. 14) and at Western Kentucky (Jan. 16) this week.
