DENTON, Texas - Nearly 300 kids of all ages came out to the free 2010 North Texas Basketball Clinic on Saturday morning, where everyone received top flight instruction from Shanice Stephens, Johnny Jones and both the Mean Green men and womens basketball teams.
The players and coaches ran through a variety of drills with the kids, and gave the participants an opportunity to learn skills and practice techniques that NT uses each day.
All participants received a voucher redeemable for complimentary admission to a future North Texas game, and all kids got a free t-shirt.
The Mean Green men return to action at the Super Pit on Sunday night against Texas State at 5 p.m. The women will next take on UALR at 5 p.m. on Dec. 30 as a part of a double-header at the Super Pit.
