DENTON, Texas (12/14/07) Due to overwhelming response, the free Mean Green basketball youth clinic on Saturday morning is being moved to the Physical Education Building on Chestnut Dr. on the University’s main campus.
Featuring head coaches Johnny Jones and Tina Slinker and the Mean Green basketball teams, the free youth clinic runs from 9-11 a.m. and is open to a youth 13 years old and under.
The clinic was originally scheduled to be held at the Mean Green Village, but is being moved to the PEB on Chestnut and Avenue D to accommodate large numbers.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn skills and practice techniques from Mean Green coaches and players. Youth coaches and parents are also encouraged to attend.
All participants will receive a voucher redeemable for complimentary admission to a future North Texas game, and the first 250 participants to register beginning at 8:30am on the morning of Dec 15th will receive a free T-shirt (quantities and sizes are limited).
