North Texas men's basketball vs. Middle Tennessee notes
North Texas had four players in double figures.
Niko Stojiljkovic made his third start of the season. He scored 12 points and had nine rebounds. The 12 points was one point shy of a season best, but the rebounds were a season best.
Jordan Williams recorded his 14th game in double-figures with 20 points. It is his second 20-plus game this season. It is the most points he has scored since pouring in 26 against Alabama-Huntsville on Nov. 12. He went 8-for-8 from the free-throw line following an 8-for-8 performance against FAU. He has now made his last 16 straight free throws in the last two games.
Roger Franklin recorded his fourth straight game in double-figures with 14 points. He scored 10 points in the second half, including eight in a 14-8 run.
Clarke Overlander made his first appearance since playing eight minutes against ULM on January 5.
Tony Mitchell finished with 10 points. He scored eight of those 10 points in the first half. He had four blocks in the game, increasing his season total to 58.
