North Texas men's basketball notes vs. South Alabama

Five players scored in double-figures for the Mean Green. All five starters scored in double-figures for the Mean Green. That is the first time all season that North Texas has accomplished the feat.

Tony Mitchell posted his 16th career double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. He posted four blocks, increasing his career total to 117. He needs three more to set the record.

Roger Franklin fouled out of the game for the third time this season. He finished the game with 10 points and seven rebounds. It is his ninth game in double-figures.

Jordan Williams finished the game with 13 points, his 12th in double-figures.

P.J. Hardwick scored a career-high 14 points, tying for the team lead. Ten points came from the free-throw line, another career best.

Alzee Williams posted his third straight game in double-figures with 11 points. It was his 10th game in double-figures this season. He did not turn over the ball in 40 minutes of play.

Jacob Holmen came off the bench and saw five minutes of action. He saw his first action since Dec. 31 after missing three games with a foot injury.

North Texas scored a season-high 29 points from the free-throw line.

Ten players saw action for the Mean Green in tonight's game. North Texas has not had that many players play since the Dec. 31 game against Middle Tennessee.
