Denton Exes to Host Basketball Radio Happy Hour at Sweetwater's in Denton on January 14th.
The Denton Chapter of the North Texas Exes, in cooperation with the Mean Green Athletic Department and Sweetwater's Grill and Tavern, will host a Mixer this coming Monday, January 14th beginning at 6:30 pm. The event is in conjunction with the North Texas basketball coaches' radio show and will feature half price food items, giveaways, trivia questions and prizes.
Head coaches Tina Slinker and Johnny Jones will give updates on their respective programs and entertain questions from the audience. The show is live on KNTU 88.1 FM, the flagship station for North Texas Basketball.
The event is being hosted by Sweetwater Grill and Tavern, which is located one block south of the Denton square at 115 South Elm. The Mixer will be held on the patio at Sweetwater's. Exes members and their guests are invited to this event, which is one of several events planned by the Denton Chapter for 2008.
