Box Score

JONESBORO, Ark. - The duo of Brandon Reed and Martavius Adams were too much for North Texas (9-5, 2-2) as Arkansas State ended the Mean Green's three-game winning streak with a 71-56 win at the Convocation Center.  Reed and Adams combined for 41 points as Arkansas State (7-6, 2-1) led wire to wire and never trailed in the game.

"We were beat from start to finish tonight, they did a much better job tonight, they were the aggressor and the team that played with a little more energy that we did," said coach Johnny Jones. "I thought overall it wasn't a great effort from our basketball team."
