DENTON - DeAndre Harris and his Rehab 3100 classmates spent time with the residents of Denton's Carriage House Assisted Living Center this semester.
The 6-4 sophomore, who averaged 6.9 points per game in his first year of Division I ball, spent over 20 hours in the last week with the residents of Carriage House.
"It was getting to know the people that made the most impact on me," Harris said. "I spent an afternoon with a lady that told me all about her life, and how her husband played for the Washington Redskins. They let me be a part of their morning exercises, and really welcomed me into their lives. I recommend everyone take a few minutes - it will really make your day."
