The UNT Student Alumni Association began in Fall of 2012 from a shared vision of UNT's Division of Student Affairs, Development and the UNT Alumni Association to bridge the gap from student to alumni by providing an atmosphere whereby future alumni work today to ensure future student success. 

The UNT Student Alumni Association (SAA) works to promote the pride, spirit, and positive image of UNT. They plan to achieve these goals by encouraging student philanthropy, UNT spirit and tradition, and involvement in campus activities.

As a member of the UNT SAA, future alumni receive most all benefit similar to that of an annual alumni association member. However, students will receive a special gift from the UNT Alumni Association of a green and white dated tassel upon graduation.
