Mrs. Maloney is the TRiO Talent Search (TS) Program Director. She currently serves students at both Strickland and McMath Middle School. She has been a member of the University of North Texas (UNT) Talent Search team for six years. Beverly has over seventeen years of experience working with TRiO students. She holds an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Schreiner University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling in Student Affairs from Texas State University-San Marcos.

Ms. McTyre is the lead Talent Search Advisor in Gainesville and currently works with students attending Gainesville Middle School and Gainesville High School. She joined the Talent Search team in January 2010. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas and a Master of Science Degree in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University at Commerce. Sophie is a proud alumna of TRiO Student Support Services at Kilgore College.

Ms. Owen currently works with students enrolled at Ryan High School. Diane has dedicated over 25 years to serving TRiO students. She holds both Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Counseling.

Ms. Zamora presently works with students attending Calhoun Middle School and Denton High School. Though Nancy joined the Talent Search team in August of 2010, she has been active in UNT TRiO programs for twelve years and is an Upward Bound alumna. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management from Texas State University-San Marcos. Nancy is currently working toward her Master of Science Degree at Texas A&M University at Commerce.

Ms. Burton currently works with students attending Gainesville Middle School and Gainesville High School and is the lead advisor for St. Mary's Catholic School. Lauren joined the Talent Search team in November 2011. Prior to working with Talent Search, she was a legislative assistant with Dan Branch, Chair of the House Higher Education Committee. She has also worked with undergraduate students at UT's Liberal Arts Career Services and with pregnant and parenting teens at the Venture School. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work and Spanish from St. Edward's University, as well as a Master of Public Affairs Degree from The University of Texas at Austin's LBJ School.

Miss Benitez-Lopez is a freshman at the University of North Texas, and the Talent Search Student Academic Assistant. She is an alumna of TRiO Talent Search and Upward Bound Math and Science. She is excited to begin her collegiate career at UNT and have the opportunity to give back to TRiO by serving the needs of our Talent Search students and parents.
