Honors Housing: A Community for You

The Honors College is proud to offer two resident halls for Honors students. Honors Hall is available to upper classmen while Rawlins Hall is available for freshmen. Rawlins Hall is available to all Honor students.

Eligibility
To be eligible to live in Honors Hall, a student must have been admitted to the Honors College and be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior. Freshmen may choose Rawlins Hall. When you are admitted to Honors College membership, the Honors College staff enter your name and UNT ID number on a special housing database that permits you to choose Honors Hall or Rawlins Hall when you sign up for on-campus housing.

 

A requirement of every student living in the honors dorms is that you must be enrolled in at least 1 Honors Course EVERY semester that you live in the hall. If you have questions regarding whether a particular course or enrichment opportunity will meet this requirement please schedule an appointment the Academic Counselor by calling 940-565-3305.

Honors Hall and Rawlins Hall feature a scholar-in-residence, a faculty member who lives in the residence hall to interact with and plan events for students.
