The Honors College welcomes applications from new freshmen and from transfer and continuing UNT students.

  Freshman applicants must submit the following:

• A completed application form online for freshmen.

• Please apply and confirm acceptance to UNT. Our office will request from the UNT Admissions Office, your previously submitted copy of your high school transcript, along with transcripts for all college work completed. Please note: Delays in sending transcripts to UNT will delay the Honors College application process.

Transfer and continuing students

Current UNT students or transfer students must submit the following:

• A completed application form online for continuing students or transfer students.

• Our office will request from the UNT Admissions Office, your previously submitted copy of your transcript for all college work completed. Please note: Delays in sending transcripts to UNT will delay the Honors College application process.

Important: The Honors College accepts applications continuously. It takes approximately three weeks to process completed applications and respond to the applicant by regular mail. If you apply to UNT simultaneously, it may take a little longer while we wait to access your transcript(s).
