Regents expected to vote today on budget, capital projects plan

FORT WORTH — The University of North Texas Board of Regents is expected to vote today on the university budget and a capital projects plan, after briefings Thursday.

The board will also meet in an executive session today at the UNT Health Science Center to discuss its ongoing financial issues, “evaluation and compensation” for System Chancellor Lee Jackson and leasing property in Frisco for offices and classrooms.

This year, UNT’s proposed budget accounts for $675.8 million in revenues and $642.9 million in expenses.
