What is UNT Preview?

UNT Preview is a prospective student event designed for high school juniors, high school seniors, and transfer students to learn more about UNT and what we have to offer our students. It will also give you the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff from our academic departments, tour our campus, visit our residence halls, and much more!

How should I prepare for UNT Preview?

As we are a walking campus, you should wear comfortable shoes and check the weather so you are dressed appropriately. Also, before you leave the house for Preview, make sure you have printed off the parking map and checked the schedule. Lastly, bring your questions! We'll provide the answers.

Can an advisor evaluate my transcripts at UNT Preview?

Unfortunately no, we will not be able to evaluate transcripts at UNT Preview. However, we will be happy to evaluate them when you come to Orientation!

Will Financial Aid be represented at UNT Preview?

Yes, the Financial Aid Office will be open on the second floor of the Eagle Student Services Center from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. You also will be able to receive FAFSA help during our session called Be Complete from noon to 4 p.m. For more details check our schedule.

Can I go to UNT Preview in lieu of Orientation?

UNT Preview is not an Orientation session. All new students are required to attend a New Student Orientation prior to their first semester at UNT. Please visit the Orientation website for more details.

Where can I purchase a UNT t-shirt?

The UNT Barnes and Noble Bookstore has just opened its doors on the first floor of the brand new University Union. Get stocked up on all your Mean Green apparel and swag!
