I don't know if I'm crying because I'm going on hour 26 of no sleep, or because I just finished my final exam in hands down the best class I've ever had (probably a combination of both). my history 2610 class, which covers America from colonization to the culmination of the civil war, was taught by the most energetic, passionate person I've ever had the privilege to learn from in my academic career. Professor T. Smith and her teaching style made me excited to go to her class. being a history major is looked upon as being "boring" to some people, but Professor Smith made it entertaining and well as informative. one day, I hope to inspire and ignite a passion in a student of mine as much as she has inspired me, and I am lucky to have been a student of hers this semester, and hope to be a student of hers again in the fall.
