Ways to Give

We are pleased that you are interested in making a gift to support innovative undergraduate education at the University of North Texas Honors College. Your gift will help support student scholarships, student research opportunities and special course needs.

There are a number of ways you can give to the Honors College, including online donations, traditional pledges and more.

  • Give online: A cash contribution can be the most effective way to give to the UNT Honors College. It’s also one of the easiest ways to make a gift and ensure its immediate impact. One-time gifts and pledges can be made online.
  • Send a check: Checks should be made payable to the "University of North Texas." Please include your gift designation in the "memo" area of your check. Gifts without a designation will be applied to the General Fund of the University of North Texas Honors College.

    Checks should be mailed to:
    Diana Dunklau
    Director of Marketing and Communications
    1155 Union Circle #310529
    Denton, TX 76203-5017
  • Other forms of giving: Cash is not the only form of support. The University of North Texas and the UNT Honors College are pleased to accept a variety of outright and planned gifts.

    Outright gifts included:
    • Appreciated securities
    • Real estate
    • Personal property
    • Memorial or honorary gifts
    • Matching gifts - Many companies match charitable donations made by employees, retirees or spouses, meaning gifts to the UNT Honors College could be doubled or even tripled. Deferred gifts are gifts that will benefit the Honors College in the future and in many cases enable the donor to make a larger contribution.

    Deferred gift options include:
    • Bequests
    • Charitable gift annuities
    • Trusts
    • Life insurance

Donors can also combine giving methods to create long-lasting gifts.
