SPRING 2016 FITNESS PROGRAMS 

BOOT CAMPS

Session I: Spring Break Boot Camp
This morning bootcamp class is an intense cardiovascular and muscle strengthening workout to get you ready for your spring break swimsuit! Come work with one of our certified personal trainers in this indoor/outdoor boot camp. Class will be held in the group exercise classroom or in the "backyard" of the Rec Center (weather permitting).

Session II: Boot Camp Around Campus
During Session II of our Boot Camp we will take our workout "around campus" to challenge our bodies in new and creative ways!

TREAD AND TRAIN

Tread & Train is for anyone, but everyone will be challenged. The class alternates between short bursts of treadmill intervals and bursts of functional strength and resistance training on the floor. T & T is the perfect full body workout for all levels of fitness. Walkers, joggers, runners, and sprinters all work on the same interval but at their own pace.
**Tread and Train is a 4 week course**

KETTLEBELL

This kettlebell program is one of the most popular ways to improve balance, strength, power, flexibility, and endurance. This class (meeting in Studio A) will help you quickly get in shape. Kettlebell is challenging, efficient, and you only need one piece of equipment! All levels welcome. Space is limited.

SPRING 2016 FREE FITNESS PROGRAMS

PULL-UP AND PUSH-UP COMPETITION

Come test your strength against the rest of UNT's fittest! Participants will compete using only body weight for 60 seconds of push-ups and 60 seconds of pull-ups. Correct form must be demonstrated for each rep to be counted! The competition will have male and female categories, and the winners will be determined by the total sum of reps for BOTH exercises.

BENCH PRESS COMPETITION

Register for our bench press competition! Divisions for men and women. Various weight classes available. Must register by 5:00pm on the deadline date (no late entries will be accepted).

We are on a mission to find Rec Sports' best competitors! Think you have what it takes? Bring it on! Put yourself to the test. Come by and participate in the Rec Sports version of a track and field meet! Prizes awarded to the top male and female winners. No pre-registration required.
